New Orleans is harder on exterior paint than almost anywhere else.
New Orleans is hard on exterior paint. The heat, humidity, salt air, and driving rain put surfaces under stress that most cities never see — a job that would last a decade in a drier climate can fail in two here if the prep and materials aren't right.
We've painted hundreds of New Orleans homes. Whether it's a century-old shotgun house in the Marigny or a renovated double in Mid-City, we understand the surfaces, the quirks, and the character of the architecture we're working with. We know which primers hold in this climate, how to properly prepare wood siding, stucco, and brick, and what it takes to deliver a finish that actually lasts.

"Big Picture Painting did an awesome job on a refresh of our exterior doors. Excellent painting by the team! We love the change of color and it compliments the house nicely. Would definitely reach out to Kade again for our next painting project."

"We hired Kade and his crew at Big Picture Painting to paint our wooden fence. Since we are on a corner lot we have three sides that needed painting. Not only did they do a great job painting, they came out early and pressure washed the entire fence. After the wood dried they returned to prime the fence and nail holes. The finished product is beautiful as attested by many of our neighbors who comment on how good it looks."
