Built by someone who was tired of the alternative.
Kade Severson grew up in Southeast Louisiana with an entrepreneurial streak and a deep connection to the people and culture of this region. After graduating from LSU with a degree in Psychology, he dove headfirst into building businesses — trying different models, learning what worked, and eventually falling in love with the trades.
Painting stood out for a simple reason: transforming spaces transforms the mindset of the people who live and work in them. For Kade, that's not a tagline. It's the whole point.
Big Picture Painting was founded in late 2024 around three commitments:
- Deliver an exceptional experience for every customer, on every job
- Create real equity opportunities for the employees who are the backbone of the business
- Give back to the community that has given us so much
